J'observe le Ciel Profond includes two main parts.

The first part describes the telescopes, the deep sky, then the manner of performing its observations. The second part presents more than 250 objects classified by seasonal visibility in the form of illustrated cards, like below:

A cartouche containing pictograms makes it possible to locate the object in a glance : level of difficulty, location, type of instrument, photography possibilities...
Zone of seasonal visibility in which the object is.
Short texts present several possible descriptions, because the object aspect varies according to the site quality and the observation conditions.
a typical deep sky object page in the book
General data on the object characteristics, more precise details on the location, charts to use in the most current atlases.
CCD images (digital cameras especially studied for astronomy) and drawings give an idea of the object general aspect.
